🎯 “such … that”
Tienes que usar "so".
- ✅ Such + (adjetivo) + sustantivo + that
- ✅ So + adjetivo + that
2️⃣ Con Sustantivo Contable Singular
Aquí es obligatorio usar el artículo indefinido "a" o "an" justo después de "such".
such + a/an + (adjetivo) + sustantivo contable singular + that + resultado
- ✔ It was such a difficult moment that I almost quit.
- ✔ He is such an intelligent person that he solves everything quickly.
- ✔ She told us such a funny story that we couldn't stop laughing.
such + (adjetivo) + sustantivo incontable + that + resultado
- ✔ She has such great talent that everyone notices.
- ✔ It was such terrible weather that we stayed home all day.
- ✔ He gave me such valuable advice that it changed my perspective.
such + (adjetivo) + sustantivo plural + that + resultado
- ✔ They faced such hard times that they grew stronger.
- ✔ They are such kind people that everyone wants to be their friend.
- ✔ I've had such busy days that I haven't had time to call you.
🆚 Comparación Directa: “So” vs. “Such”
|---|---|---|
| Con un adjetivo solo | The book was so good that I read it twice. | ❌ The book was such good that... (Incorrecto, falta sustantivo) |
| Con un adjetivo + sustantivo | ❌ He is so a good teacher that... (Incorrecto) | ✅ He is such a good teacher that all his students love him. |
| Con "much/many" (cantidad) | ✅ There was so much noise that I couldn't sleep. | ❌ There was such much noise that... (Incorrecto) |
| Con la palabra "a lot of" | ✅ She has so a lot of friends. (Poco natural) | ✅ She has such a lot of friends that she's never alone. (Menos común) |
🚀 Cómo aprender a usar such … that
such + (a/an) + (adjective) + noun + that + result
so + adjective + that + result
- It was such a ______ day that I decided to go to the beach. (beautiful, perfect, sunny)
- She is such a ______ person that everyone trusts her. (honest, kind, reliable)
- It was such ______ food that we ate everything. (delicious, amazing, spicy)

- ✔ I had such a good time on vacation that I didn't want to come back.
- ✔ My son has such a vivid imagination that he tells me incredible stories.
- ✔ Learning this has been such a challenge that I feel really proud of my progress.
✅ 4. Haz Contrastes (So vs. Such)
- So: The game was so exciting that everyone screamed.
- Such: It was such an exciting game that everyone screamed.
Idea base: La música es alta. No podemos hablar.
- So: The music is so loud that we can't talk.
- Such: It's such loud music that we can't talk.
